Move over Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus, a new pop star has been just been born er, downloaded. Japanese teenager Hatsune Miku is young, beautiful stylish and . . . . not real? Yes that's right, for the 16-year old, 5 ft. 2in. tall singing sensation with thousands of fans, is not a human but a 3D hologram!

The brainchild of Crypton Future Media, the digital singing diva can be downloaded and programmed to sing any song the customer likes.

Hatsune, who uses the voice from Japanese voice actress Saki Fujita to 'talk' has become so popular that she now has a hit single and is currently on a sold-out concert tour, performing on stage just like any other pop star, complete with a live band and thousands of cheering fans.

She has also guest starred in a number of popular Japanese anime shows and upon the request of 14,000 fans had her image etched onto three metal plates that were carried to Space aboard the Japanese Spaceship Akatuki, that launched in March 2010.

While the young teenager currently croons only Japanese songs, she is scheduled to make her English song debut soon - So don't be surprised if you get an invite to watch Hatsune Miku - Live in Concert, soon!

          ok it's not childish cuz holograms are not childish and why are people hating on this? they are seeing the future basically! can they not see that? and the point of it is not to make it look human, it's anime! and if you were wondering why her voice it so high, it's how most female Japanese voices sound, like in anime!
